In 2019, Groupe PSA distinguished the excellence of supplier results obtained in 7 categories:

“Program Management Trophy”

NOVARES received this trophy in recognition of its performance in terms of quality of deliverables, compliance with schedule, control of cost creep, project management, successful launches and technical expertise.

“Performance Trophy for Industrial Equipment and Services”

SGTM and IMA received this trophy in recognition of their performance in terms of service and quality, cost, meeting deadlines and responsiveness.

“After-Sales Performance Trophy”

MAT HOLDING and LEOCH are rewarded for their exceptional performance in quality, service and savings in the areas of Original and Multi-brand Spare Parts.

“Competitiveness Trophy”

HOWA TRAMICO, MINTH and YAZAKI received this trophy which rewards suppliers for their exceptional performance in terms of savings (commercial, process, technical, logistics, etc.) and their proposals for 2019 for a portfolio of cost reductions in line with the objectives of the PSA Group.

“Quality First Trophy”

PLASTIQUES DU VAL DE LOIRE, KIRCHHOFF and ADIENT were rewarded for their achievements and their commitment in terms of industrial development and production by meeting the Quality requirements of the PSA Group.

“Social and Environmental Responsibility Trophy”

ORANGE BUSINESS SERVICES and CONSTELLIUM are rewarded for their remarkable actions according to 4 criteria: environmental, social, ethical performance and mastery of the subcontracting chain. Performance is assessed by a service provider mandated by the PSA Group, on the basis of a questionnaire, covering international requirements in terms of Sustainable Development.

“The Special President’s Trophy” is awarded to FLEX-N-GATE and CENTTHOR for their commitment and their abilities to offer innovative and disruptive solutions, to overcome challenges and to anticipate changes in a spirit of continuous improvement.

Carlos Tavares, Chairman of the Management Board of the PSA Group, concluded by emphasizing the strong expectations of the PSA Group vis-à-vis its partners in terms of quality, costs and compliance with deadlines in order to face, together, the challenges facing the The automotive industry is facing.

In 2018, Groupe PSA’s purchases totaled 42 billion euros, including more than 30 billion for serial parts which represent, on average, more than 75% of the manufacturing cost of a vehicle. Groupe PSA works with a panel of more than 8,000 suppliers and promotes local sourcing wherever it operates. Fres automobile production plants source around 50% of their supplies from France and 87% from Europe.
